Michael Meissner, CEO of AEviso Technology, stated that the key reason for choosing i-PRO lies in its “technical strength.” i-PRO is not merely a surveillance camera manufacturer, but a technology-driven manufacturer focused on delivering core capabilities. Its Edge AI architecture has accumulated extensive real-world deployment experience across global markets. A single Edge camera can support up to nine AI applications, with as many as eight applications running simultaneously. It also supports automated scheduling, assigning the right AI tasks at the right time. This represents a fundamental shift away from traditional surveillance toward a security layer that is intelligent, adaptive, and proactive. In addition, i-PRO offers a large library of AI algorithms, high-accuracy video recognition, and mechanisms that allow on-site continuous learning and self-optimization based on deployment environments, enabling system integrators to better address the practical demands of complex scenarios such as industrial facilities, transportation systems, and critical infrastructure.
Yoshiaki Masuda, Representative for APAC Business Planning at i-PRO, noted that i-PRO has consistently sought partners capable of growing together while committing deeply to local markets. AEviso Technology has operated in Taiwan for more than three decades, with a deep understanding of market structures, system integration workflows, and end-user requirements, while also building a strong reputation for trust among its customers. In his remarks, Michael Meissner emphasized that cybersecurity concerns have intensified in Taiwan in recent years. i-PRO products comply with international cybersecurity standards such as FIPS 140-2 and FIPS 140-3 Level 3, and incorporate multiple layers of protection, including firmware signing, brute-force attack resistance, and safeguards against malicious intrusion, embedding cybersecurity requirements throughout the product lifecycle. At the same time, i-PRO has actively aligned with Taiwan’s CNS 16120 cybersecurity standard, translating regulatory requirements into concrete system architectures and operational practices.
Another key factor behind this partnership is the high level of integration between i-PRO and Milestone video management systems. AEviso Technology has maintained a long-standing partnership with Milestone, and the deep integration between i-PRO and Milestone VMS significantly shortens system deployment and tuning timelines, reduces overall project implementation costs, and improves the efficiency of video forensics and event review. For AEviso’s long-term customers, this level of integration delivers stronger system performance and more stable project quality during execution.
It is also worth noting that i-PRO inherits nearly seventy years of Panasonic’s technological legacy, with a global failure rate as low as 0.3 percent, ranking it among the most reliable solutions worldwide. At the same time, i-PRO has evolved into a forward-looking platform purpose-built for proactive edge AI surveillance. This is a mature technology that has been proven in the field and refined through continuous evolution, providing a solid foundation for this collaboration.
