The VE8662 was honored with the 2024 Good Design Award and is capable of stable transmission of True 4K HDMI video, audio, and RS-232 control signals over standard network infrastructure, delivering low latency, long-distance, and uncompromised signal quality for audio and video streaming. In the future, this product can also be seamlessly integrated with other H.265-enabled devices (such as surveillance IP cameras).
The VE8662 features both transmitter and receiver functionalities, providing flexible support for diverse AV over IP application scenarios. With real-time control and video feedback, users can quickly switch signal sources and display devices, enabling effortless operation of video walls in either horizontal or vertical arrangements. This product is particularly suitable for venues such as sports arenas, traffic control centers, security monitoring centers, and command & control rooms where audio and video content must be distributed and managed across multiple workstations.
By adopting H.265 high-efficiency compression technology, the VE8662 maintains high image quality while significantly reducing bandwidth requirements and latency, as well as minimizing signal attenuation. Overall performance is far superior to traditional H.264 technology. Considering system stability, the device supports dual power supply modes (PoE and DC), providing redundant power to ensure uninterrupted operation of the audio and video system even in unexpected power outages.
Unlike ordinary AV extenders, the VE8662 supports KVM workstation functionality, featuring OSD preview and Boundless Switching technology. Users can seamlessly switch between different signal sources simply by moving the mouse cursor, greatly enhancing real-time response and decision-making efficiency. An intuitive on-screen menu allows users to flexibly push or pull video content to video walls or other workstations, significantly simplifying audio and video source selection and management, and facilitating collaborative communication.
